A:No. It is commonly used for pet runs as an alternative to concrete or rock. Urine is not a problem as it absorbed and neutralized when you use the Fresh Fill infill system. Other messes clean up the same as natural grass. You can even spray the soiled area with a hose, and then brush the artificial turf back into place. The artificial turf is also installed with extra spikes to secure it to the ground.
